Transportation to Berkeley

There are TWO good transportation options between BWC and the local airports (BART and Bayporter). In addition to the BART information below, check out the Bayporter web site here.

 

Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) Links Between Airports and the BWC

San Francisco Airport to the BWC: SF Airport is connected to the BART system by the AirTrain Shuttle, which runs every 10 minutes. The cost for BART ride from the shuttle to Berkeley is $5.55, and the commute takes approximately an hour.

Oakland Airport to the BWC: The AirBART Bus links the Oakland airport to the Coliseum BART station, with busses running every 15 minutes. The cost for the BART ride from the Coliseum to BWC is $2.00, and the commute takes approximatley 30 minutes.

BART development plans include extending complete service to both airports.
