The following guidelines will help with your plans to visit to the Berkeley Water Center (BWC), which is currently located at UC Berkeley. Lodging is conveniently available on campus at either the Faculty Club (510) 540-5678, or the Women's Faculty Club (510) 642-4175. Men and women can stay at either club. If you choose to stay at one of these locations, please make your reservations directly. Lodging at the Men's or Women's Faculty Club is encouraged. There are also a variety of hotels in the area. The Hotel Durant and the Claremont Resort and Spa have negotiated University rates.

Many travel expenses associated with visiting the BWC are reimbursable. For those travelling more that 50 miles to BWC, the cost of lodging (room and tax) is reimbursable. Reimbursement for meals is based on actual costs, which can be up to $33 for visits of 12 to 24 hours, and up to $50 per day for stays greater than 24 hours. Transportation costs are also reimbursable. For rental cars the normal costs are reimbursable, but additional rental car insurance is not.
